How to knit an 18 inch dolls bag!

Hello everyone and welcome to or welcome back to our blog, its me Talita and today I'm going to show you how to knit a bag for your doll! We got inspiration from our friends Midnight Dolls on YouTube as they have made a bag similar, I decided to give it to Valencia for her birthday which was yesterday and she loved it!

Firstly here is everything you need:

Wool (this tutorial is for thick wool, if you would like us to do a tutorial using thinner wool please comment below or on our YouTube channel)

Scissors

Crochet hook (size doesn't matter as long as it is near 3.5 mm)

4 mm knitting needles

And a wool needle which we forgot in the picture

Then, you need to cast on 12 stitches.
And knit 28 rows! We did normal knit stitch, we wouldn't recommend purl with thick wool, but you can do knit purl if you like!
Then, we cast off.
Next, we made a crochet chain enough to go over our head and shoulder, we haven't mentioned this yet but we think the type of bag is a cross body bag!

Then, using the wool needle we stitched the sides together and the handle on!

I hope you liked this tutorial, comment if you try it or if you would like us to do it with thinner wool!

How to make an Our Generation Dolls popcorn machine with popcorn!

Hello everyone and welcome to or welcome back to our blog, it's me Franco and in today's post I'm going to show you how to make a popcorn machine and popcorn for your dolls, I hope you like it!

First you need to measure out pieces of cardboard with the following measurements: (all in cm)
1- 6 by 5 (2 in picture but realised only need 1)
2- 3 by 5
2- 3 by 6

And cut them out!
Then, you need a piece of plastic which is 6 cm by 5 cm with a small square cut out central at the bottom, the size does not matter as long as it fits the scoop we will make soon.
Then, glue all the cardboard pieces together like this
Next, we added a layer of hot glue and glued on yellow beados. You can use any yellow beads, if you don't have yellow it doesn't matter.
Next, we got a glue stick lid and another lid similar size and filled them with hot glue and beados, we didn't have enough yellow so we used white.
Then, we painted over the beados in the machine and small containers with yellow paint, that is why the colour doesn't matter!
Next, we got a small piece of barbecue skewer and a rounded triangular shape of cardboard, the size doesn't matter as long as it fits in the hole in the plastic. We hot glued the skewers on to make a spoon to get the popcorn with.

We had glued the plastic front on the other side but forgot a picture, we painted all the cardboard red, but not the plastic so you can see the popcorn through. For the scooper, we painted the cardboard part red and left the skewer the original colour so there is a difference between them, for the popcorn we painted red stripes on the container!

I hope you enjoyed this craft, we made it as a present for Valencia for her birthday, she will love it! We would have added an image of it finished but it is still drying, if you would like to see Valencia open it stay tuned on our YouTube and Tiktok (we will post it on both) to see her open her presents! See you soon!

Talita's Big Ambition Post 2! Our Generation Dolls Photo Story

Hello everyone and welcome to or welcome back to our blog it's me Talita here! Apologies for not posting in over a week, we have been busy with YouTube and TikTok as well as other things, but we have missed posting so much and we took some photos for post 2 of my series a week ago and didn't write it, I hope you enjoy!

It was my first practice session, I was petrified.
"Go on Talita, you can do this," Sia cheered.
"Thank you so much," I replied shaking with fear.
What if I'm not good enough?
What if the others don't like me?
What if I'm a complete failure?
As I went, I was panicking. This is exactly what I dreamed of happening, it was my big gymnasts goal. But I always knew there would be a challenge along the way.
"Hi, I'm new on the team," I said to the instructor.
"Welcome, you must be Talita," she replied, "you will be practicing on the mat over there."
"Ok, thanks," I answered.
"No worries, I'm sure you will do great," she reassured me.
I walked over, feeling slightly more confident.
As I was getting used to my new surroundings, I heard a voice next to me.
"Hi, I'm Holly," she said, "what's your name?"
"Hello I'm Talita," I introduced myself shyly. She seemed so bold. So confident.
"I'm new on the team as well, not sure how though I think I was just lucky!" she stated.
"Lucky, it took me ages, but I'm so glad I made it," I replied. Maybe this wasn't so scary after all, she seemed very nice and outgoing.
"I think it's time to start," Holly said.
"Ok we will be fine today with you showing me what you can do," she instructed," first a front handspring."
I was ready, very confident in this.
I went forward, perfect on my arms.
And landed it with both feet on the ground!
Holly was also amazing, she said she was lucky to get on the team, I could never believe that.
Then, it was time for a backflip.
I was slightly wobbly.
But landed perfectly.
Holly was also amazing!!
"Now, the final thing I would like you to do is a forward roll," we were instructed.
I got in position.
And thankfully did a perfect roll.
Holly was so good, I have no idea how she does it.
Wow.
"Thank you for coming, your skills are wonderful," said the instructor, "I will see you next session."
When I saw Sia, I was over the moon.
"You did great Talita!!" exclaimed Sia.
"Thank you!" I replied.

Thank you so much for reading everyone, I hope you enjoyed! We will definitely not leave it as long as we did since our last post, we will definitely have a new post coming soon! We have some awesome ideas but if you have any requests, we would love to hear them!
See you soon! (I definitely mean soon!)
