Hello everyone, Aria here and welcome back to/welcome to our blog! In todays post, I am going to be showing you how to make some Halloween decorations for your dolls (or yourself if you are a doll)!
Firstly, lets get started with a pumpkin decoration!
For this craft you will need: Orange felt or foam (foam is better but we have ran out of orange), gold/white/brown wool/ribbon (what we have is used for bracelet making but we aren't sure what it is called), some orange beads (we used hama-beads) and scissors!
Firstly, you have to cut a pumpkin shape out of your orange foam or felt!
Then, you have to cut holes as small as you can in the foam/felt (if you are using foam, a hole punch will work), in the same layout we have!
Then, you thread your wool/ribbon through the bottom right hole, them add a bead!
Next, you go into the hole in the middle, so it comes out the top!
And then, you have to thread it on the back to the front through to the hole on the right and add another bead!
Next, you thread it through the hole front to back on the top left!
Then, you cut your ribbon/wool at the bottom, so that it isn't connected to the bundle any more, just leave around 2cm extra!
And then, you do exactly the same for the left side of holes (the middle hole should have two strings through it once this is complete)!
On the back, you can tie a few knots to keep the strings together!
You will need: plain paper, black felt tip/marker or colouring pencil, crayon etc, black ribbon/wool/string (we used ribbon, even though it said I love you it was the only thing we could find and it makes it more scary when it says that) and finally scissors! You will also need tape, we forgot to add it in the image!
Firstly, you want to draw a black oval shape on your plain paper!
Then, cut the oval shape out!
And colour in the other side!
You want to cut 8 shorter pieces of wool/ribbon for the legs and 1 longer piece to use for hanging it up!
Then, tape them on, 4 shorter ones each side and the longer one down the middle!
You can make as many as you like and your spooky spiders are done!
